The Gallery represents a stylistically varied selection of Australian contemporary art of the highest calibre produced by local and interstate artists. Mingara gallery also exhibits some fine Aboriginal paintings and craftwork.
Situated in the main street of Cowes, Mingara gallery’s windows display to passing motorists and pedestrians, changing exhibitions of paintings, glass, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery.
Mingara gallery consists of two indoor exhibition spaces with adjoining courtyard areas for sculpture and a substantial stockroom collection by represented artists.
The complex also has an onsite studio with kilns and painting/drawing areas.
