Kyneton’s Botanical Gardens, established on the banks of the Campaspe River in 1856 with the assistance of Baron Von Meuller contain 17 Heritage listed trees and is one of Victorias best Botanical Gardens. Running alongside the Gardens is the Campaspe River Walk which stretches from the Gardens to the bottom of Piper Street and beyond to the Racecourse. It provides an interesting walk along the River and passes through the wonderful Sculpture Park near Quarry Reserve.
