The Regional Playspace and Village Green at Casey Fields is one of the most significant play space developments ever undertaken in Victoria and provides play and leisure opportunities for families from Casey and beyond. Casey Fields is located at 160 Berwick – Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East (Melway 134 E7).

It opened in late 2010 on a total site of almost 3 hectares or 30,000 square metres in size and includes:

Six metre high climbing net and rope bridge
Adventure hill featuring a birds nest swing, climbing areas and large slide
Large Pirate Ship play structure
Liberty Swing for people using wheelchairs
Climbing mounds and net bridges
Interactive art sculpture
Jetty landing into the lake
Shelters
Village Green community space
Extensive landscaping including the planting of large mature trees
Barbecues and picnic facilities (facility bookings are unavailable)
Toilets and Change facilities
Lots of Drinking Fountains

Casey Fields lake is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout by the Victorian Department of Primary Industries. The new ‘jetty’ as part of the regional playground will increase opportunities for fishing.
